'Designing the Spectacle — Pre-Digital Graphic Design Practices' is an exhibition that highlights the tools and practices that were involved in the designing of Hong Kong’s spectacle of signs and advertisements in the pre-digital era.

Infographics were created based on extensive research and insights collected from design practitioners through interviews. Each infographic features an exploded view of the components, variations of the tool, the steps to use the tool, and captions that introduce other tools under the same function or category.

There are a total of 8 infographics created for dry-transfer letter and pattern, T-square, precision knife, french curves, bow compass, airbrush, type gauge and technical pen.
